Original Music cd's
A number of albums are planned and some have had work commenced on. These
range from a release of instrumental tracks from Lyle's first venture into a studio, an album of tracks as an 'acoustic anthology', and a number of albums produced with
full 'studio' backing. Here you can listen to some sample tracks of draft recordings of some
of these songs.
Work to produce these albums is under way and hopefully will be soon
available for sale. The first tracks recorded are the 'ghost tracks', of drums, bass, keyboards and some vocals and guitar. These are recorded at home and are then are taken to the studio and used as a 'song map' for the 'real' recordings.
Some of the current draft recordings still have the 'ghost tracks', some also still have the vocal and guitar 'ghost tracks'.

These are the instrumental versions mastered at the time of recording in December
1980 at Forest Glen Studios on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland. 6 songs were recorded with the help of the jazz influenced rhythm section of Andy
Tainsch on Bass, Bob Welsh on keyboards, Ricky Lloyd on drums and Mungo Coats on guitar.

"Coming Back Again" - Best Of?? Album Listen
This compilation album is the result of many hours in the studio in 2001 and 2003 for a project to produce the songs used in the series of "Music Language" tutorials in which the songs are used as examples and exercises.
As a lack of funds has held up all these projects to date, there is this situation where alot of recording had been done without a finished project.
So it has been decided to put together an album of the best of what has recorded, and with a few days in the studio to finish recording, mixing and mastering of the album it will be ready. As many of these songs may yet feature on some upcoming albums, and others have featured on some past, the title 'Coming Back Again' seemed appropriate.
In the true tradition of some pretty weird "Best Of .." Albums we are almost tempted to call this a 'Best Of … " album, even though we have never had a real release yet alone a top 10 hit. Hmm!!
There are two bonus tracks from the Instrumental album "Pioneer".
"Town on a Western Plain" - Extended Play Listen
This is the title of an album planned down the track, about 4th in line. However
the title track has been recorded in part for the purpose of the songs used in the series
of music tuition books. Hence it is proposed to release the track along with other
'introductory' tracks from other albums due to be released on this EP aimed at the country
music market.

"Sole Trader"
15 songs giving an anthology of songs written over the last 30 years. Presented
simply with vocals and single acoustic guitar, either 6 and 12 string. Most recording has been done with
some small changes to be made and this disc will be almost ready for release.
"Same Place Twice"
/ 2003 remix
Originally recorded in 1991 with the duo 'Rimshot', this album is being
re-mixed with some additional track recording. It will be re-released along with
"Sole Trader" as a double album under the artist reference of 'Lyle
Stacpoole and Licence'.
